Picture Perfect! The Best Spots in Paris for a Pic

No matter if its your first or your thousandth time in Paris, You will always want to keep the memory with a picture! So, I decided to make a compilation of my favorite places to give you inspiration.

Jardin du Luxemburg (Luxemburg Gardens) Located in the 6eme arrondissement. Metro: Odeon (line 4 and 10) RER: Luxemburg Bus: 21, 27, 38, 58, 82, 83, 84, 85, 89

One of the biggest parks in Paris with a lot of amenities from playgrounds to tennis courts. My favorite season to visit is of course spring and summer.

Musée du Louvre (Louvre Museum) Located in the 1ere arrondissement. Metro: Palais-Royal Musée du Louvre (lines 1 and 7) and Pyramides (line 14) Bus: 21, 24, 27, 39, 48, 68, 69, 72, 81, 95

The pyramid of the Louvre is without a doubt one of the most iconic places to photograph and visit! It is beautiful all year round, but in the summer you will find the fountains on. There is obviously a lot of people so either arrive early morning, late evening or with a lot of patience.

While you are there dont forget to visit Jardin des Tuileries (Tuileries Garden) and Place de la Concorde

Montmartre Located in the 18eme arrondissement. Metro: Abbesses (line 12) Anvers or Blanche (line 2).

This bohemian neighborhood and former home of many artists is simply enchanting. The best way to explore is wandering around and getting lost going up and down the hill. If you want to go full tourist can also stop for a picture at the Moulin Rouge (Metro Blanche). The first picture was taken at the metro entrance Lamarck Caulaincourt (line 12), the second one is at La Maison Rose (2 Rue de l'Abreuvoir, 75018) and the third one at one of the many creperies in Place du Tertre.

Pont Alexandre III (Alexander III Bridge) Located in the 8eme arrondissement. Metro: Invalides (line 8 and 13) RER: Invalides Bus: 63, 72, 83, 93

One of my fav bridges in the world! Its simply beautiful and aesthetic, please dont forget to go down the stairs!

Parc de Bagatelle (Bagatelle Park) Located in the 16eme arrondissement. Metro: Pont de Neuilly (line 1) Bus: 43 or 93, stop Place-de-Bagatelle and 244, stop Bagatelle-Pré-Catelan. Fee: From April 1st to September 30th you must pay an entrance fee of 2.50 euros or 1.50 reduced.

I visited during "Weekend de la Rose" which this year will be held on June 8th and 9th from 11 am to 7 pm. Expect a lot of people but it doesn't get as chaotic as you would think of, and it is really beautiful!

Grande Mosquée de Paris (The Great Mosque of Paris) 2bis Place du Puits de l’Ermite. Located in the 5eme arrondissement. Metro: Censier-Daubenton or Place Monge (line 7) or Jussieu (line 10) Bus: 47,67,89 Fee: 3 euros. 3€ par personne. Please note it is closed on Fridays and Muslim holidays. Its open in the summer from: 9h-12h and 14h-19h and in the winter from 9h-12h and 14h-18h. They dont let you go in with shorts, mini skirts and revealing clothes.

Beautiful place that will transport you to Morocco, in the summer you will be able to admire the splendid garden and while in there dont miss the chance to stop for tea and pastries!

Rue Crémieux Located in the 12eme arrondissement. Metro: Quai de la rapee (line 5) Gare de Lyon (line 1 and 14) RER: Gare de Lyon A and D Bus: 20, 24, 57, 61, 63 y 65.

A different street from any other you will see in Paris. Charming and colorful houses are the main attractive. Each house is decorated and painted differently giving a very unique touch to the street. Please remember this is a residential area, people actually live here and they are tired and overwhelmed by the amount of tourist visiting so please just be respectful and conscious.

Eiffel Tower Last but not least I will give my favorite locations with views of the Eiffel Tower.

  • Trocadero Located in the 16eme arrondissement. Metro: Trocadero (line 6 and 9) The most complete and majestic view of the tower, either from the esplanade, stairs or garden. Worth staying until the sun goes down and see the tower sparkle.

  • Pont de Bir-Hakeim (Bir-Hakeim Bridge) Located in the 15eme arrondissement. Metro: Bir-Hakeim (line 6) Bus: 72. The bridge gives a beautiful frame to the picture and from there you can as well admire the replica of New York’s Statue of Liberty next to the Pont de Grenelle.

  • Avenue de Camöens Located in the 16eme arrondissement, a few minutes walk from Trocadero Gardens. There is an statue of Luis de Camoens with stairs that take you to the avenue and its beautiful view of the tower.
